THE MOVING PICTURE
I was born on the 28th of July, 1981. From my childhood the two things, which attracted me a lot, were “Art” & “Sports”. Then –
I grew up. In a country like India and in a city like Vijayawada (which is 5 miles in radius and where I lived for 22 years of my life) parents tend to make the children focus on studies. All they want is their children to be Engineers & Doctors. Art is considered taboo.
Though I was blessed with a educated & financially resourceful family (unlike millions in India), the opportunities for creative development were non existent. I tried different means to express my creativity. At the age of 16, I designed a “flying car”. At the age of 18 I started a web company which went on to create a powerful voice recognition software being used by over 100,000 users. But something was missing.
In 2003 I completed my engineering like millions of other Indians & came to the US to do my MBA like thousands of other Indians. But only after I came here was I able to clearly see what my calling was. The Moving Picture. I love Movies. Always did since the day I saw my first English movie at the age of 7. Cobra.
